Notice about congestion during Golden Week

We expect many passengers to board during the Golden Week holidays. Please note that there is a possibility that you may not be able to board some buses due to full seats or other reasons. In particular, the Red Course, which runs through the Sky Tree, Asakusa, and Ueno areas, is expected to be crowded. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Following is a forecast of the crowds expected for each day of the Golden Week holidays, as well as for each of the three bus routes. Please note that on days and bus routes that are expected to be particularly crowded, ticket sales may be limited on the day, and boarding may be controlled at the Marunouchi Mitsubishi Building bus stop, which is the starting point of the bus service.

Please note that the above data is an estimate and the situation may change significantly depending on weather and other conditions. So please use the data as a guide only.

The Open Top Bus also operates the SKYBUS, a bus service that offers reserved seats. This is a one-hour drive starting from the Marunouchi Mitsubishi Building bus stop. Advance reservations are available for this service.
