Walking tour for passengers of SKY HOP BUS Kyoto

We are pleased to announce that we will be offering a "Walking Tour" guided by a professional guide for passengers of the SKY HOP BUS Kyoto, as we did last year in autumn, which was a great success. This time, we will offer two courses, one to Kinkakuji Temple and the other to Gion. Although Kinkakuji Temple and Gion are well-known, you may discover something new through the guidance of a professional guide who is well versed in the area and its culture. Please join us for a walking tour where you can experience the real heat of the region, which is possible only with Sky Hop Bus.

Tour time is approximately 75 minutes.

*Tour content is subject to change depending on weather and conditions.

*This tour is designed to take time for visitors to deepen their understanding and discover new things, so the connecting bus after the course is scheduled two buses after arrival. If you wish to explore and see the sites in approximately 1 hour, which is the interval        between buses, please do not take the walking tour but enjoy the tour on your own.

Participation Fee and Conditions of Participation

There is no participation fee for this walking tour, as you will be asked to participate in this tour as a monitor to verify the future potential of walking tours as an attractive local tourism content.

　　Only customers with a ticket for SKY HOP BUS KYOTO can participate.

　　Visitors are responsible for any entrance fees or other admission fees charged.

How to participate

　Advance reservations are　not possible.

　Please come directly to the meeting place (Kinkakuji bus stop for Kinkakuji course, Gion bus stop for Gion course) by the departure time.

　The tour will depart upon the arrival of the connecting bus service at the meeting time indicated in the course setup list.

　In order to prevent the 　spread of infection, the event will be limited to the first 10 people who register for each session.

Note to Program Participants

　~ Regarding the tour implementation time~.

　The start of the tour may be delayed due to bus delays, as the tour departs pending the arrival of connecting flights.

　The scheduled tour end time may be delayed due to the above reasons. Please understand that there is a possibility that you may not be able to board the connecting flight after the tour ends.

※Please note that there is a possibility that you may not be able to board the scheduled connecting flight due to congestion. 　(Especially when you participate in the Gion Course (1), there is a possibility that the connecting flight will be crowded.

　～Regarding insurance~

　This walking tour will be conducted as a monitored tour, so we do not have travel insurance. We recommend that you carry a copy of your health insurance card as well as optional insurance in case of emergencies.

　Please sign and submit the Participation Rules and Regulations Agreement at the walking tour meeting place.

　　　If you are under 18 years old, a parent or guardian's consent is also required.

　Please wear comfortable walking shoes and other clothing appropriate for the weather and your physical condition.

　Please refrain from participating if you have a fever of 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher or if you are not feeling well.
